Atop a lonely hillside in Dayton, Ohio sits a mysterious structure. A lonely, unused sentinel, this tower is now the subject of local lore. The “Witch’s Tower” as it is commonly called, is the site of a ghastly and mysterious death, and is said to be haunted to this day. No one really knows why the Witch’s Tower was constructed or what it was intended for, but it is now sealed and sits empty, crumbling, and even more mysterious.
Some brave souls venturing around this structure at night have witnessed ghostly apparitions and strange sights and sounds. It is said the ghost of Peggy Harmeson still wanders around the tower today–a victim of a violent lightning strike in the late 1960’s.
